01 // Technical Specifications

API Rate Limiting & Quotas

Limits are enforced per API key. Standard plans include 10,000 requests/day with per-second burst control, and quota headers are returned in every response.

Public API Access

Public integrations use REST endpoints with the X-API-Key header. Responses are JSON only and map directly to the European EUR schema exposed in the catalog.

Normalization Standards

Card conditions are normalized to the Euro-standard (NM, EX, GD, LP, PL, PO) across currently supported countries (DE, FR, ES, UK).

02 // Billing & Subscription

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept all major credit cards and PayPal through Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Payments are secure, PCI-compliant, and billed in EUR.

Refund Policy

First-time subscribers can request a full refund within 14 days of the initial payment date. Contact [email protected] and we will help route the request through Paddle billing support.

VAT & Invoices

EU VAT-registered entities can add their VAT ID during checkout. Invoices are generated automatically and remain available for billing history and accounting exports.

Plan Changes

Upgrades apply immediately with proration. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. The 14-day refund applies to the first subscription purchase only.

03 // Data Coverage & Integrity

Market Depth Distribution

PokePrice Lab prioritizes primary liquidity providers across the European market. Data is validated against realized trade patterns so pricing reflects true European EUR conditions rather than raw scrape noise.

Historical Snapshots Daily preserved baselines
Grading Entities PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, TAG, ACE, PCA + more
Jurisdictions Covered DE, FR, ES, UK

Coverage Roadmap

Coverage consolidation

Hardening country-level normalization and consistency for currently supported markets (DE, FR, ES, UK).

Grader normalization

Cleaner labelling across PSA, BGS, CGC, SGC, TAG, ACE, PCA, and additional graders in exported responses.

Future expansion

Additional country coverage is planned after the DE/FR/ES/UK baseline remains stable.

04 // Troubleshooting Common Errors

Error Code 401: Unauthorized
Ensure your X-API-Key header is present and matches an active PokePrice Lab key. Keys are case-sensitive and may be revoked after security-policy violations.
Error Code 429: Rate Limit Exceeded
You have exceeded your plan's request quota. Implement client-side caching or exponential backoff logic, or move to a higher plan for more throughput.
Stale Data / Missing Nodes
Sandbox plans have a delay. If data is missing, verify the set code exists in the catalog and allow time for new releases to finish initial liquidity indexing.
